Hand Stamping

People often mistake engraving with hand stamping. I did at first. But they are two different things. Engraving is done with a machine, and it will look perfectly lined up and polished a machine made it. Hand stamping, as the name implies, is done by hand. Each letter is hammered into the metal one at time. There may be variations in depth, spacing, and darkening between letters and ornaments. This is what gives each piece its unique charm. No two pieces will look exactly alike.
